Fancy a bike ride to remember through the Provençal vineyards and hills ? It all starts in Rognes, a lovely little village next to La Roque d’Anthéron.
The path gets hilly when you leave the village and the garrigue takes over. A refreshing descent takes you to Saint-Estève. You're now in the Durance Valley with open flat landscapes and views of the Luberon Regional Nature Park.
Don't worry, it's an easy ride back with a gentle slope. You'll ride near Silvacane Abbey before passing Saint Christophe Reservoir and its 20ha of water in a leafy haven. Then it's time to tackle the last third of your route.
The way back to Rognes runs through the pine forest then orchards, almond trees and vineyards growing Côteaux d’Aix rosé. One last push to overcome the final ascent... and you've come full circle !
