This yellow-signed trail gives you the full Chaîne des Côtes experience taking you deep into the garrigue scents with Mediterranean flora and fauna.
Your hike takes you past the Château de Florans and Cistercian Silvacane Abbey before you find yourself surrounded by pines, oaks, thyme and rosemary. Continue along the ridge line to enjoy panoramic views of the Durance, Provence's Sainte Victoire and Luberon Mountains, from the Mediterranean to the Southern Alps.
The way back gives you a change of scene in the Castellas Valley teeming with shrubbery where the ruins of a medieval fortress tower overhead.
