Paris, 1939. An art lover, Babi Maklouf Benhamou has the best job in the world: he is a night watchman at the Louvre Museum. But as World War II breaks out and the German invasion looms, Jacques Jaujard, the museum’s curator, organizes a secret operation to rescue the works of art so they do not fall into the hands of the Nazis. He entrusts Babi with one of the trucks tasked with transporting the masterpieces out of Paris. Babi agrees, on one condition: that his entire family accompany him… This marks the beginning of an epic and dangerous family adventure across occupied France, which will forever link the fate of the Louvre’s treasures to that of Babi Maklouf’s family…
